Photographic exhibition on Angolan roots - Weddings of the past
At the San Francesco Cloister of the Municipality of Città Sant’Angelo, the photographic exhibition on Angolan roots which tells, through evocative images of ancient local weddings, the importance of the wedding traditions of the past.
Through beautiful photos, the result of research and careful selection, 10 panels have been created which display epic moments of weddings from the past: the country weddings, the procession of relatives and friends who follow the bride before arriving at the church, the ritual photos after the celebration, proxy weddings and photographic correspondence from America and Argentina.

The round table “Wedding Destination and Roots Tourism, Villages as Places of Return,” organized with the contribution of the Municipality of Città Sant’Angelo and the Chamber of Commerce of Chieti-Pescara, held last January 23 at the Municipal Theater of Città Sant’Angelo, was a moment of in-depth discussion on the themes of roots tourism and wedding destinations. Representatives from institutions, administrators, and professionals from the wedding industry took turns on stage, successfully engaging and captivating the audience.
